Future Focus with KJK - MOVE ON!

You are greater than your past. You are stronger than any moment of failure. You can rise like smoke up a chimney. You were meant to spiral to the sky. All the chilling drafts of broken promises should not deny you the gift of life.

Never forget that you are alive, sometimes you could be weak, sometimes strong but alive. You could be right some day and wrong some night, but you didn't stop waking up the next morning.

The morning is God's gift of another day to pass the exam. How sincerely prepared are you? What book are you reading? Who have you been spending time with and relating with lately? Where have you been going of recent? It’s time to get intentional about project YOU. That's our focus at Creative Concept this year - INTENTIONAL GROWTH.

Therefore dear, do not become so preoccupied with the pain that you forget to push the baby you are meant to give birth to this year. For when the pain is at its peak; that's when you have to push. PUSH!

Someone called me during the week for counseling and he said that he is considering committing suicide. Hmmm! No time to sit and cry, you don't have to be suicidal. Push!

This is not the time to give up. Push! because this year God is about to birth a PROMISE through you. Don't look around, it could be discouraging except if you are looking out for opportunities. The answers begins first from within, J.C Maxwell wrote that "more gold has been mined from the thoughts of man than has even been taken from the gold coast of Ghana"

This will be your best year ever. Nothing shall be missing, nothing shall be needed.

LIBERTY WITHOUT LIMITS, IS BONDAGE | ALIBABA

I note with interest the recent outbursts, Protests, arguments for and against on the assent into Law, the Same-Sex Prohibition Act by GEJ.

While a section of the civil societies had termed GEJ's action hypocritical and made lame attempt to equate Homosexualism to the ineptitude and brazen corruption in the GEJ-Led polity, I dare say Homosexualism does not stand at par in any way. My take on the state of the Nation has always been, the leadership of Nigeria is a reflection of us as a people and the larger society..The irresponsible fathers and irate mothers who are raising dysfunctional children all contribute in much greater measure to the present state of the nation.

Now to the subject, Homosexualism simply negates the order of God and Nature. It's alien to every known African culture except for few who indulge in Occultic practices. Sodomy has been known to be a long time tenet of Satanic Worship. Why should it then be forced down our throats in the guise of Liberalism.

It further amazes me to find the Christian Community turn analytical and philosophical when subjects that challenges the core of our faith gets controversial in the public domain. Children of Darkness Stay vocal and deploy all resources to force down their gospel on us.

Ain't interested in the arguments but this I know, '' if an animal who has a less-functional brain, would not mate with the same sex, What happened to Humans, made in God's Likeness? Till date I've not come across the over 1000 amphibious species that exhibits homosexual traits , as claimed by LGBT Activist, in any Biology, Anatomy, Genetic or Physiological book.

The signing of the bill is in order with our Culture as a people and our Faith. The practice must not be given any form of encouragement in the Nigerian Community.

Just felt to share...

Great One,

I received two BB broadcasts today and felt to share them here; I hope they’re a blessing to you as they were to me.

God bless you!

Here’s the first one:
"And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?".(1 Samuel 17 vs 26).
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
David aptly described Goliath as a reproach to Israel. Beyond, personal gains, David saw the opportunity of killing Goliath as a chance to take away the reproach of Israel. He saw the business of killing Goliath as a chance to bring a solution to his nation. Others may have been content with just talking about the national problem, but for David, there was a hunger and desire to be a national solution.
Friend, God says, BE A NATIONAL SOLUTION.
Do something to make your nation better. Add value to your nation through your prayers, skills, abilities, ideas. You must not necessarily be in governmental leadership to make this happen, just start by impacting your little corner - Be a good example that will inspire others unto good works. David was willing to fight a national battle before he inquired to find out the personal benefits involved. God says, even when there is no personal gain involved, just go ahead and add value to your nation. It may be necessary to seek what your nation will do for you, but also seek what you can do for your nation. What kind of nation do we want to leave for our children? What kind of structures do we want them to inherit? What kind of values do we want them to live by? Beloved, start with the little: Clean up where you live, obey traffic lights, don't jump queues, imbibe a maintenance culture especially for public facilities etc. You might be a lone voice but remember it takes one man to bring a change; Isn't it just one man that killed Goliath?
Pray with me,"Lord, give the grace to add value to my nation in Jesus name".

Have a Restful Saturday!

Here’s the second one:
Faith Food Devotional | Heart and Mouth January 11, 2014
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Rom. 10:10).
It is always with the heart that man believes - and with the mouth that confession is "made unto salvation." When you believe something with your heart and confess it with your mouth, then it becomes real to you. Faith's confessions create realities!
For example, Hebrews 9:12 says, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."
Jesus will never have to do that again; He has already done it once, and for all time. And Romans 10:10 tells us how we obtain the reality of that salvation: By believing with the heart - the inner man - and confessing with the mouth.
As you read some of the "in Christ," "in Him," and "in whom" scriptures, it may not seem like you really have what these scriptures say you have. But if you will begin to confess (because you do believe God's Word in your heart), "This is mine. This is who I am. This is what I have," then it will become real to you. It is already real in the spirit realm. But you want it to become real in this physical realm where you are living.
Confession: With my heart I believe God's Word; and with my mouth I make confession of its promises and provisions. My faith confessions create the reality of those promises and provisions in my life. I am who God says I am - now! I have what God says I have - now!

A New-Year's Love Letter to my Fellow Gospel Musicians | Nathaniel Bassey

RE: COLLABOS WITH SECULAR ARTISTES

Shalom Saints,

A very happy New Year of peace and joy to you. I write to share a thought we you as we begin this great year. Be blessed as you read through.

Some weeks back, I was asked to give my opinion on the subject of collaborating with secular Musicians and Artistes. While I didn't respond, my friends and close associates know my unambiguous stand on this matter. It may seem an old school, out of fashion and holier-than-thou point of view, but I still stand by it.

Most people and indeed many gospel musicians would agree that Christian musicians are also ministers of the Gospel, albeit in songs and art, just as preachers and teachers are ministers in Word. And a clear understanding of this puts to rest arguments and biases regarding alliances and collaborations with secular Artistes whose songs and lifestyles have done more harm than good.

To drive home a point, I would like to paint a simple picture. If gospel musicians are first, ministers of the Gospel, and as some argue, that collaborations with secular Artistes is okay, then having a church convention with a native doctor on the line up with other preachers is fine. After all, the native doctor would draw some of his crowd and perhaps they could be saved in the process, at least that's the kind of reasoning behind gospel Artistes' collaboration with secular musicians. According to them, the scope of evangelism is broadened featuring with unbelieving Artistes, as well as the attempt to reach out to these Artistes.

Now if this illustration appears bizarre, why is collaborating with unbelieving Artistes okay?

My answer is simple - "LONG-THROAT", and something the Yorubas call, EJUKOKORO. Truth is sometimes we just desire the things the secular Artists have -the money, fame, fans, cars etc. And would stop at nothing to taste some of these goodies while hiding under the guise of evangelism and some new revelation and idea of how to win the world over for the Lord, as if the Holy Spirit is out of ideas.

Inferiority complex could be another reason, thinking that we need some kind of boost by virtue of affiliation to be accepted by the world and to show that we have arrived.

Christian musician? You're worth more than this. May we all come to a higher understanding of who we are in Christ. Who said you need to liaise with the secular Artiste to make an impact for God? LIE ! LIE ! LIE ! The kingdom is blessed with a wide array of talents and gifts for collaborations and partnerships. We don't save the world by being like them, and doing what they do. We do by the preaching of the word, prayers and by living out the Gospel and sharing God's love. I have seen, and continue to see a lot of gospel musicians whose lives have been destroyed just because they walked this path.

Saints, I know I may have punched some folks below the belt, and could get some stones in return, but whatever you do, give this a serious thought, and allow the truth prevail over Satan's lies.

Deep down, these secular Artistes, some of who were once Christians and who gradually crossed over for reasons such as these, admire us. They wish they could have stayed back, believed God and trusted him. Because out there, it's emptiness and vanity. If you ever heard Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and a host of others speak at the twilight of their lives, you would agree. I even know and still meet some Naija Artistes who have opened up to me, and sometimes wish they could trade places.

I don't say this as a one who knows and has got it all, but do it to remind us all of who we truly are - LIGHTS that lead the way in a grossly dark world. This year, let's go out and stand for Jesus!

Happy New Year

WISDOM CONFESSION | Martina Aderonke Fatogun (Mum Ope)

God of all wisdom, you made the earth by your power, founded the world by your wisdom and stretched out the heavens by your understanding (Jer. 51:15), you are wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom (Is. 28:29), praise be to your name forever and ever. Wisdom and power are yours. You change times and seasons, giving wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. You know what lies in the darkness and light dwells with you (Dan.2:20-22).

Today, I ask for wisdom and I thank and praise you because you have given me wisdom and power (Jas.1:5 & Dan.2:23)

I have the mind of Christ (1 Cor.2:16) therefore I have the wisdom from heaven. Wisdom that is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere (Jas.3:17). I have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know God better; the eyes of my heart are enlightened to know the hope to which he has called me. (Eph.1:17, 18).

I refuse to rest my faith on the wisdom of men or worldly wisdom but rather I rest my faith on God’s wisdom and power (1 Cor.2:5). I am filled with the knowledge of God’s will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Col. 1:9).

Because the Spirit of the Lord is living in me I have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom (Dan. 5:14) I have understanding, I have the Spirit of counsel and power, I have the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. I will delight in the fear of the Lord. I will not judge by what I see with my eyes or decide by what I hear with my ears; but with righteousness I will judge the needy, with justice I will give decisions for the poor of the earth. I will strike the earth with the rod of my mouth; with the breath of my lips I will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be my belt and faithfulness the sash around my waist (Is.11:2-5).

My wisdom will not be static but will grow in accordance with the riches of God’s grace which He lavished on me with all wisdom and understanding (Eph.1:8) and I will always be filled with wisdom and God’s grace (Luke2:40).

In every matter of wisdom and understanding I will always be ten times better (Dan.1:20) speaking with wisdom and tact (Dan.2:14). My mouth will speak words of wisdom always and the utterance from my heart will give understanding (Ps.49:3). God teaches me wisdom in the inmost place (Ps.51:6) therefore I know the proper time and procedure for every matter (Ecc.8:6).

I have the wisdom to fight battles without the use of physical weapons of war (Ecc.9:18). Through me the manifold wisdom of God will be made known (Eph.3:11). I have the wisdom that will save me from the ways of wicked men (Pro.2:12). God has given me words and wisdom that none of my adversaries will be able to resist or contradict (Luke 21:15); they will not be able to stand up against my wisdom or the Spirit by whom I speak (Acts 6:10).

The Lord Jesus alone remains the sure foundation for my times, a rich store of salvation, and wisdom and knowledge (Is.33:6). Amen and amen.

NAME TAG | January 2014

19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
Genesis 2:19 – 20 (KJV)

We are speaking spirits. What we keep saying, we’ll keep seeing.
Like money, the year 2014 is amorphous; whatever name we call it is what it bears.

59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. 60 And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John. 61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name. 62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called. 63 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
 John 1:59-64 (KJV)

If we’re not proactive to DO things differently in the direction of our expectations, we’ll more than likely have the same outcome this year as we did last year.

Our expectations for the year may be unprecedented (like it was when John’s mum was told no one had borne the name “John” in their lineage before) but daring to call 2014 by the name of our expectation is a step in the right direction.

Zacharias “wrote, saying, His name is John.” The name which means “the grace or mercy of the Lord” was as it were, a product of revelation. We may have written New Year resolutions but we all know they don’t make it past the first quarter; a “New Year Revelation” is what we need to make a change.

2013 was great but it’s nothing like 2014 especially because YOU are in it!
In this New Year, may YOU experience INEXPLICABLE TRANSFORMATION as YOU BEcome & DO YOUR part to activate the benefits of the BLESSING already on YOU.

2014 answers YOU!
2 + 0 + 1 + 4 = 7
May God PERFECT all that concerns YOU this year!

Cheers Great One!
