Just felt to share...

Great One,

I received two BB broadcasts today and felt to share them here; I hope they’re a blessing to you as they were to me.

God bless you!

Here’s the first one:
"And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?".(1 Samuel 17 vs 26).
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
David aptly described Goliath as a reproach to Israel. Beyond, personal gains, David saw the opportunity of killing Goliath as a chance to take away the reproach of Israel. He saw the business of killing Goliath as a chance to bring a solution to his nation. Others may have been content with just talking about the national problem, but for David, there was a hunger and desire to be a national solution.
Friend, God says, BE A NATIONAL SOLUTION.
Do something to make your nation better. Add value to your nation through your prayers, skills, abilities, ideas. You must not necessarily be in governmental leadership to make this happen, just start by impacting your little corner - Be a good example that will inspire others unto good works. David was willing to fight a national battle before he inquired to find out the personal benefits involved. God says, even when there is no personal gain involved, just go ahead and add value to your nation. It may be necessary to seek what your nation will do for you, but also seek what you can do for your nation. What kind of nation do we want to leave for our children? What kind of structures do we want them to inherit? What kind of values do we want them to live by? Beloved, start with the little: Clean up where you live, obey traffic lights, don't jump queues, imbibe a maintenance culture especially for public facilities etc. You might be a lone voice but remember it takes one man to bring a change; Isn't it just one man that killed Goliath?
Pray with me,"Lord, give the grace to add value to my nation in Jesus name".

Here’s the second one:
Faith Food Devotional | Heart and Mouth January 11, 2014
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Rom. 10:10).
It is always with the heart that man believes - and with the mouth that confession is "made unto salvation." When you believe something with your heart and confess it with your mouth, then it becomes real to you. Faith's confessions create realities!
For example, Hebrews 9:12 says, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."
Jesus will never have to do that again; He has already done it once, and for all time. And Romans 10:10 tells us how we obtain the reality of that salvation: By believing with the heart - the inner man - and confessing with the mouth.
As you read some of the "in Christ," "in Him," and "in whom" scriptures, it may not seem like you really have what these scriptures say you have. But if you will begin to confess (because you do believe God's Word in your heart), "This is mine. This is who I am. This is what I have," then it will become real to you. It is already real in the spirit realm. But you want it to become real in this physical realm where you are living.
Confession: With my heart I believe God's Word; and with my mouth I make confession of its promises and provisions. My faith confessions create the reality of those promises and provisions in my life. I am who God says I am - now! I have what God says I have - now!
