B.A.Y.O.R : September 2017

Have you been there? Those moments when you plan a day to go a certain way and then through a surprising sequence of events, it turns out another way! This is more appreciated when the outcome is quite delightful as was the case with my birthday last Thursday, 21^st September 2017.

Thing is, I had quite a blast at my birthday concert last year tagged “Thank You” (pictures and video excerpt below) and felt I should just have a quiet birthday this year; I simply wanted to give out some items. I’m not quite sure but I think this action, taken some days before my birthday, created a vacuum of sort and God used people to pour into my life in more ways than I had envisaged.

Like other birthdays, I received more messages than calls but this time, I was so blessed to have very significant people call me and pray for me; as in, people I would have needed to book an appointment to see! Their words had palpable and really humbling veracity. After some of those calls, I quickly noted down what they said and to those that asked, I sent my details and the alerts came in before the end of the day.

Friends and family sent in very heartfelt messages devoid of platitudes (or those miffing “hbd2u llnp” abbreviations you might add. Lol ☺). Some friends called and virtually “demanded” for my account number while many others didn’t even bother asking, they just went to my blog and picked it from one of the new month messages. Up until this morning, I still got alerts while in church (including a rather touching one from a sweet soul of N1,400 for “recharge card” among very many others). Imagine me getting gifts three days after my birthday! I was really touched that so many people just wanted to be a blessing by all means.

Looking back, I'm really delighted that I decided to give out not just physical items but musical products from my wife and I. Luke 6:38 became a reality for me after people listened and downloaded most of the songs/videos on the links: bit.ly/BMMUSIC and bit.ly/BMVIDEO (please scroll below for the products) such that I caught myself yesterday almost wishing I had recorded something new. Good thing there are some projects in the making.

It took me this long to reply because I received quite a number of messages and I couldn't afford to reply all the messages at a go.

For all the show of love in gifts, words, cash, gestures etc I pray that God will truly bless you for me in a way that no man can take credit for.

I'm trying hard to put a face to some of the names from the messages and alerts but I pray earnestly that the God who knows you will honor you with things that money can buy, things money can not buy and money itself!

For the prophetic words and prayers, I say a big "Amen" - those who pay attention to the Word, won't have to pay for attention from the world; I pray that God will advertise and show you off in this season.

To God's choice vessel, thank you for sowing that wonderful trumpet into my life Sir; honestly, I am speechless. May The Trumpeter (Zechariah 9:14) announce you to the chagrin of naysayers.

And to my "Blessed Dad" that fulfilled the promise he made earlier, all I can say is God bless you profusely! Thank you so very much Sir! I love the fact that this brand starts with my initials...

This missive is just an attempt to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone for the texts, calls, love seeds, prayers and gifts that made my day. God bless you abundantly.
