B.A.Y.O.R : October 2017

As there are no horizontal lines on the Nigeria National Flag;
May this nation continue to stand tall and stand strong.
May the pillars of good in this nation never fall.

1 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright.
Psalm 20:7 (NKJV)

In the face of the wind, Nigeria's hoisted flag remains usable for as long as the sewn parts hold together.
May we continue to stand united as one nation undivided by prevailing winds.
May we continue to rise above every challenge with flying colours.

The white in between the green also seems to say;
"God at the center"

17 The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Until it comes to pass, a prophecy sometimes sounds like a lie to the one receiving it.

An uncommon voice of wisdom always stands out from many voices of common reasoning.
If everything He did could be explained away, God wouldn’t be deserving of our worship.
