PRAYER POINTS:

1. O Lord, choose me for special blessings today, in the name of Jesus.

2. O Lord, have mercy on me today, in the name of Jesus.

3. My problems shall not overcome me; I shall overcome all my problems in the name of Jesus.

4. I command every stubborn pursuer to drown in the Red Sea in the name of Jesus.

5. Every power bragging and boasting against my progress, fall down and die in the name of Jesus.

6. O Lord, fill me up with your Holy Ghost fire, in the name of Jesus.

7. O Lord fill me with the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.

8. God of Elijah, send terror to the camp of the enemies, in the name of Jesus.

9. Father Lord, make a way for me where there seems to be no way, in the name of Jesus.

10. Every power that wants to frustrate me at the point of my breakthrough be frustrated, in the name of Jesus.

11. O Lord, give me the voice that will shout my enemies into surrender, in the name of Jesus.

12. The power to praise and worship, fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.

13. O Lord, hear me when I cry and have mercy upon me, in the name of Jesus.

14. Every evil chanting incantations against my calling, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

15. I send the fire of the Holy Ghost, to roast every witch for my sake in the name of Jesus.

16. Any power that rises against me to afflict me, shall not rise again, in the name of Jesus.

17. Every eater of flesh and drinker of blood, eat your own flesh and drink your own blood, in the name of Jesus.

18. The healing power of God touch my infirmities, in the name of Jesus.

19. The power to pursue, overtake, destroy the enemy, and recover all fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus. 

20. My life, turn around for good, in the name of Jesus.

21. I am an overcomer in the name of Jesus.

INFINITE | AN AUDACIOUS INVITATION | AUGUST 2020

Years ago, I was preparing to go home from work when I came upon a Facebook post by Fela Durotoye. In response to that post, I submitted a write up tagged "The Nigeria Of My Dreams" and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that as the winner, I had been selected to share the day with Fela at the Eagle Square on October 1st, 2010.

 

When we met, besides praying heartily for me, I received my copy of a presidential invite that gave access to the venue for the independence day celebration. The event of that day inspired another write up: Granny's Diary.

One of the reasons I believe someone would be honored to receive such an invite might be because scarcity increases value and obviously, not too many people get to be invited by a president or king. This event occurred about a decade ago and only recently, I began to ponder on that event in the light of this scripture:

37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 

38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”  

John 7:37-38 NKJV

Here we see Jesus the King, give an "open-ended" invitation in a way that no earthly king would. His call was to “anyone”. Kings and presidents on earth would most likely give an invitation to a banquet or feast with strict security for selected guests and a few reserved tables. Not Jesus. His invite was and still is to us all.

1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

2 Why do you [a]spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.

3 Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—The sure mercies of David.

Isaiah 55:1-3 NKJV

Trust me, I don't know Him as much as I desperately desire to yet. But with the very little of Him that I know, I can tell you with all certainty: He's a wonderful Father.

1. Every power spending the night to pull me down, o sun, through them away in the name of Jesus.

2. O day, arise and give me my portion, in Jesus name.

3. O day, arise and curse any power stealing my portion in the name of Jesus.

4. Every wicked power in the second heavens, that is representing my family die in the name of Jesus.

5. Every rod of affliction from the second heavens break in the name of Jesus.

6. Any problem that wants to kill me, die in the name of Jesus.

7. Every mouth speaking against me with satanic anointing, o sun transfer the arrows back to them in the name of Jesus.

8. Every arrow of ancestral witchcraft, die in the name of Jesus.

9. Everything stolen from my life from the powers of the night, I repossessed you by fire in the name of Jesus.

10. Thou power of polygamous witchcraft, die in the name of Jesus.

11. Affliction of the day, die, in the name of Jesus.

12. Every negative flying power delegated against my destiny, the angle of God shall pursue you in the name of Jesus.

13. My father everything which you have not planted in the heavenlies, let them be uprooted now in Jesus name.

18. Thus saith the Lord "let no principality, power, ruler of darkness, spiritual wickedness trouble me, because I bear in my body the marks of the lamb of God in Jesus name.

19. I destroy every satanic connection between the heavenlies and my place of birth in Jesus name.

20. I recover all my properties dedicated to the sun, the moon, the stars and traditional gods by the power of darkness in Jesus name.
